Delete your account

Last updated: July 31, 2026

You can start deletion inside Tallē. You do not need to contact support first. Your account is recoverable for 30 days; after that deadline, Tallē permanently deletes the account and account-owned cloud data, subject to the limited shared-history and legal-retention exceptions below.

Delete from the app

  1. Open Tallē and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open your account or profile settings.
  3. Select Delete account, review the notice, confirm that you understand it, and reauthenticate.

If you are the last owner of an organization, workspace, shared task space, or Engage account with other members, Tallē will ask you to transfer ownership or remove that shared resource before deletion can begin.

What happens immediately

Recover during the 30-day window

Sign in with the same account before the displayed deadline and choose to recover it. Tallē restores account-owned records before reactivating your private and public profiles. Once the deadline has passed, the account cannot be recovered.

What is deleted after 30 days

Tallē's automated deletion process removes the Firebase account and account-owned cloud data, including private documents and blocks, folders, journals, meetings, bookmarks, Collections and series, Forms and responses, public shares, meeting invite records, saved people, notification registrations, profile records, stored document media, and Tallē's RevenueCat customer record.

Content contributed to a shared group—such as posts, replies, task comments, task activity, mentions, completion history, pins, and reactions—may remain so other members retain an understandable shared history. Tallē removes or replaces the deleted person's account ID, name, and profile image with an anonymous “Deleted User” identity. Copies that another person previously exported, copied, or saved remain under that person's control.

Opt-out records, delivery logs, billing and texting-usage records, security records, and audit history may be retained only as reasonably necessary to honor communication preferences, prevent abuse, resolve billing disputes, meet carrier requirements, or comply with law.

Local files and device backups

Cloud account deletion cannot erase copies stored only on your device, in an exported file, or in a device or computer backup controlled by you or your backup provider. Remove those local copies separately if you no longer want them.

Download your data first

While signed in, choose Download my data from your Tallē account settings to create a structured JSON export of available account, document, meeting, journal, Forms, Tasks, and related records. If a source cannot be read, the export identifies it in an errors section. The structured export does not package separate binary media files stored in cloud storage.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your Tallē account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription:
