Terms of Service
Last updated: April 14, 2026
Welcome to Tallē. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tallē mobile and desktop applications and any related services (collectively, "the Service") provided by Tallē ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tallē, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if higher. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
You're responsible for the activity that happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@talle.app.
You may delete your account at any time from within the Service (Profile → Delete Account). After deletion, you have 30 days to recover your account by signing back in. After 30 days, your account and content are permanently removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Subscriptions, payment, and refunds
Some Tallē features require a paid subscription. All subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms of sale.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Managing or cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings on your device.
- Free trials: If a free trial is offered, you'll be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit Apple's "Report a Problem" page to request a refund.
- Price changes: If we change subscription prices, we'll notify you in advance and your continued subscription confirms acceptance.
4. Your content
Documents, sermons, notes, journal entries, meeting records, comments, reactions, and other material you create or upload through Tallē ("Your Content") remain your property. We don't claim ownership of Your Content.
You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service for you — including delivering Your Content to other devices on which you're signed in and to other members of task groups you've shared content with. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You're responsible for Your Content. You represent that you have the rights to anything you upload, that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights, and that it doesn't violate the Acceptable Use rules below.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law or regulation, or facilitate someone else doing so.
- Infringe anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users in shared task groups.
- Distribute malware, attempt to compromise the Service, or interfere with other users' access.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service except where allowed by law.
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or for any commercial purpose we haven't authorized.
- Bypass authentication, rate limits, or other technical measures.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Egregious or repeat violations may be reported to law enforcement.
6. Third-party services
Tallē uses third-party services to operate (Apple, Google Firebase, RevenueCat, API.Bible, among others). Your use of those services through Tallē is subject to their respective terms. We're not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.
7. Service availability and changes
We work hard to keep Tallē reliable, but we don't promise uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features at our discretion. We'll do our best to communicate material changes in advance, but we may need to act quickly to maintain security or resolve operational issues.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
Live Interpreter Mode performs speech recognition and translation. Translation accuracy depends on Apple's frameworks and on environmental conditions. Do not rely on Tallē's interpreter output for safety-critical communication.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Tallē, its officers, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tallē and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would be commercially unreasonable. The provisions of these Terms that, by their nature, should survive termination, will survive — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app. Continued use of Tallē after the change means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't accept the changes, you may delete your account.
